The Company of Men
‘Music crafted with the patience of those who no longer wait for glory but have not abandoned the quest for the perfect song.’ Stéphane Babey
I first heard about Chris Wicky roughly 25 years ago in Munich when my friend Markus Schultze told me, 'Andy, you gotta listen to this album.' It was 'Lay Your Head on the Soft Rock' by The Sad Riders, Chris Wicky's solo project alongside his work with Favez. Ever since, Chris Wicky and his various projects have been staples in my record rotation, with The Sad Riders holding a permanent spot on my all-time favorites list. Chris's latest venture, The Company of Men, just dropped their third album, 'A Big Old Fire,' and I had a blast photographing the band at their launch concert in Chebrex.
